Looking back, there were signs:
✨ Campaigning for animal rights at 7
✨ Solitude and science experiments
✨ “Tantrums” that were actually meltdowns
Only now do I see them as part of my neurodiversity.
What do you notice when you revisit your childhood through a new lens?

Ok so I’m someone who is challenged by change and letting go.
For the past few months I’ve had my kids first car seat at the front entry of my house. The seat has had the cover stripped off and is awaiting being disposed off as it was too old to pass on or sell.
Today I finally put it in the car and took it out to my husbands work yard so I could put it in the skip bin. I put some other things in and then as I went to take out the car seat I felt like it was still talking to me. I couldn’t do it! So it’s still in the back of the car.
How do I separate my energy from this old car seat? How do I let go. My first baby recently turned 13.
As soon as I went to touch the car seat I had the memory of putting him in it for the first time.
Advice please community 🙂

Masking — the art of blending in — is something many neurodiverse folks do without even realising it.
It’s also exhausting.
I’m learning to recognise when I mask, and how it affects me.
What does masking look like for you?
Or if this idea is new — I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I recently accepted/understood that I’m neurodiverse in multiple ways — in my mid-50s.
(You can read my post about it here.)
While I always knew I was different… having a framework for it? That changes everything.
Have you ever discovered something about yourself that made your whole past click into place?
I invite you to share below in the comments.

🎵 Feeling a little out of step with the world? Music has a way of wrapping around our hearts and reminding us of who we really are.
Here are a few snippets of some songs that help me reconnect when I need it most:
✨ “I’m on the right track, baby, I was born this way.” – Lady Gaga
✨ “This is me.” – Keala Settle
✨ “There is a crack in everything—That’s how the light gets in.” – Leonard Cohen
✨ “Don’t lose your individuality.” – Area 7
✨ “True colors are beautiful, like a rainbow.” – Cyndi Lauper
✨ “Don’t lose who you are in the blur of the stars.” – Jessie J
Let these words lift you up. Being different isn’t a flaw—it’s your magic. 💛
💬 Do you have a song that brings you back to yourself? I’d love to know.
